We thought we’d take a look down memory lane and share with you the latest Tourism Ireland press release which shares a never-seen-before version of a TV advertisement released in 1996.
Lough Boora Discovery Park and Visitor Centre is located near Tullamore Co. Offaly. The park provides Guided Tours of the historic site as well as Cycling & Bike hire, Walking routes, Fairy Trail, Sculpture Park, Angling and bird watching.

There are some 140 Sheela-na-Gigs only in existence listed, 100 of whom are to be found here in Ireland, with the remainder located in Britain and France.
Thurles is renowned as being the birthplace of the GAA. It is also home to Ireland’s oldest collection of Gaelic Games sporting heritage, at it's GAA Museum ‘Lár na Páirce’
This small museum is preserved presently in a building, portion of which dates back to early Norman times (1290) and contains one of the largest collections of original Great Famine (1845-1849) memorabilia held in private collection, presently in Ireland.
Many guests, who come to stay at Lisheen Castle, do so in the hope of tracing long lost Irish ancestry. From here they have easy and equal access to all parts of Ireland.
