Note:
Check in is strictly 3:30pm or after, if your flight arrives early morning you may wish to take your time coming down before arriving, it’s a 2 hour drive from the airport, I would suggest visiting the National Stud, you will be passing it on your way down and it’s well signposted, you may also wish to do your food shopping prior to arrival at 3:30 but please try to adhere to check in time as somebody must be there to meet you on arrival.
From DUBLIN Airport
1. Start out at Dublin Airport,Dublin
2. At roundabout take the 2nd exit (signposted Way Out, Hotels)
3. At roundabout take the 2nd exit, then join the M1 motorway (signposted Dublin)
4. Leave the M1 at junction 1, then at roundabout take the 3rd exit onto the M50 (signposted Southbound)
5. M50 Toll (Barrier Free)
6. At Junction 7 continue forward onto the M50 (signposted Southbound)
7. Leave the M50 at junction 9 to follow signs Limerick onto the N7
8. At Junction 3 continue forward onto Naas Road – N7 (signposted Limerick, The South)
9. Continue forward onto the M7
10. Leave the M7 at exit 19 to join the M8 signposted cork.
11. Leave the M8 at exit 4 for Urlingford (signposted).
12. Continue forward through Urlingford on N8 for a couple of miles
13. Take right turn signposted Lisheen Mine
14. Continue to T junction and take left turn
15. Continue to cross roads and take right turn signposted Moyne and Lisheen castle
16. Continue straight through village of Moyne
17. Continue for about 2 Miles until you see left turn signposted Lisheen castle
18. Continue forward until you reach destination on right
19. Welcome to Lisheen castle

From SHANNON Airport
1. Start out on the N19
2. At roundabout take the 1st exit onto the N19 (signposted Galway)
3. At roundabout take the 2nd exit onto Airport Road – N19
4. At roundabout take the 2nd exit onto Airport Road – N19 (signposted Limerick, Galway)
5. At Shannon Town roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the N19 (signposted Limerick, Galway N18)
6. At roundabout take the 3rd exit, then merge onto the N18 (signposted Limerick)
7. Bunratty Castle (on left)
8. At Junction 4 continue forward onto the N18 – Toll (signposted Limerick East – Toll)
9. N18 Toll Plaza
10. Limerick Tunnel
11. At Junction 1 (Rossbrien Interchange) continue forward onto the M7 motorway (signposted Dublin)
12. Leave the M7 at junction 25, then at roundabout take the 3rd exit onto the R498 (signposted Thurles)
13. At roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the R498 (signposted Thurles)
14. Continue straight for approx 30 mins to centre of town of Thurles.
29. Turn left onto Liberty Square in centre of town of Thurles
30. Continue over bridge and past cathedral on left.
31. At Mini roundabout take first exit with Hickey’s pub on your left.
32. Continue out past water tower for further 3 miles
33. Take 2nd left turn at staggered cross junction where signposted Lisheen Castle (you will recognise this junction by the black and yellow warning signs where road turns sharply to the right.
34. Continue for 4 miles until you reach destination on left.
35. Welcome to Lisheen castle.
