For generations a shadow was cast on the landscape of North Tipperary by the ruins of Lisheen Castle. So much so that a local family were enchanted to set their minds to a mammoth restoration project. The restoration was a labour of love spanning five years and cumulating in the opening of a truly unique accommodation option for guests looking for somewhere really special to stay while on a once in a lifetime vacation to Ireland.
Beautiful Restoration and Antique Furnishings
Since its opening, Lisheen Castle and the Everard family have played host to guests from all over the world. Spending time with their guests, the family were inspired to put together two truly bespoke small group tours of the island of Ireland. Launching in 2013, these tours are tailored to ensure that guests enjoy not only the luxury of the castle, with its vaulted ceilings and antique furniture, but also enjoy some of Ireland’s most popular visitor attractions.
